Endries Timeline

  • 1970      Founded as Bob Endries Auto Specialties based out of the basement of the Endries' home in Brillion, Wisconsin. 
     
  • 1973      Construction completed on a 60’ x 80’ metal building at the present site of the corporate office in Brillion ( 714 West Ryan Street .) Endries purchases a business out of Detroit , Michigan, consisting of five semi-loads of fasteners brought to the new warehouse in Brillion.
     
  • 1974      Added OEM market to marketing mix.
     
  • 1975      The company is incorporated under the Wisconsin Incorporation Laws and is now doing business as Endries Fastener & Supply Inc. 
     
  • 1976      Completed an addition of 80' x 165' to the original structure. Revenues doubled from the previous year.
     
  • 1977      Sales increased 70% over previous year.
     
  • 1978      Completed a 30,000 square feet addition on the existing building bringing the facility to over 75,000 square feet of warehouse and office space. Installed a computer system to maintain inventory control, general ledger, and other functions.
     
  • 1980      Established in-house quality control department. 
     
  • 1983      Purchased the assets of two Chicago firms, Industrial Fasteners and Regal Fasteners.
     
  • 1984      Acquired Ray Bristow Company of Portland, Oregon. Developed and introduced first inventory management program.
     
  • 1986      Purchased the stock of Wisconsin Bolt & Nut of Milwaukee and merged it with Endries’ existing Milwaukee branch.
     
  • 1992      Upgraded computer system with software from NxTrend Technology Inc. 
     
  • 1994      Established presence in Canada through the acquisition of a Canadian distributor. Opened distribution center in Guelph, Ontario.
     
  • 1995      Endries Fastener & Supply Inc. becomes Endries International Inc. Brillion and Guelph, Ontario distribution centers ISO-9002 registered by TUV Rheinland.
     
  • 1996      Opened Southeastern Distribution Center (SEDC) outside of Atlanta, Georgia.
     
  • 1998      Completed expansion project to increase the size of the Corporate Headquarters to over 110,000 sq. ft. 
      
  • 1999      Opened West Coast Distribution Center (WDC) in Fullerton, California. Endries International Europe B.V. began operations in Breda, Netherlands. Begins marketing itself as Endries International.
     
  • 2000      Purchased Precision Technical Services, Inc. (PTS) located in Kennesaw, Georgia. Breda DC achieved ISO-9002 certification. Opened a distribution Center in Coventry, England establishing our United Kingdom division under name of Endries International U.K. Ltd. 
     
  • 2001      Endries Named As One Of The Top 100 Privately-Held Companies In Wisconsin. Breda and UK Distribution Centers upgraded to ISO 9001:2000 certification. 
      
  • 2002      Endries North American distribution centers upgrade ISO certification to ISO 9001:2000. Purchased the assets of Interstate - Fastener Division (formerly known as Schlafer Supply Inc.) 
     
  • 2003      Began servicing customers in China. 
     
  • 2004      Steve Endries succeeds his father and becomes the second President of Endries International. A sourcing and quality facility opened in Taiwan.
     
  • 2005      Endries International Inc. is acquired by Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. Endries launches www.endriesinternational.nl, Dutch web site for customers in the Netherlands.
       
  • 2008     Completed expansion at Corporate Headquarters in Brillion, increasing the size of the facility to over 225,000 sq. ft.
     
  • 2009      Establishes operations in India
